Well, we had our first ever CAS session since starting at CAMSFC and it was pretty alright... Sonya (our CAS coordinator) talked, we listened... And whilst we listened we found out that for our first project we will be buying buckets for the Oxfam Unwrapped Campaign. Yes, buckets. £8 for 3 buckets to send to a third world country. I really must admit I was feeling a little ambivalent to this news as it came as a suprise that it costed £8 to buy, send and donate the buckets. Oh wells... At least it gives you that warm fuzzy feeling that you get when you know you've helped someone without really doing anything. :) After the buckets, discussed how we could raise a single £8 and multiple £8s by the end of September with a rather cool idea of having a 'uniform' day where we come to college in uniform instead of the traditional 'non-uniform'. This I found rather interesting as it was a really unique twist to a day that we all longed for in our lower school years. Ahh well it would be quite amusing to see the whole college dressed in their old uniforms :) (if they still have it that is! and if they can still fit into it :P)
Anyways, I hope my first proper post has entertained you... Or maybe not...
Til the next time :)
